The Dominican Republic Equestrian Federation has named three combinations to represent the nation at the Central American and Caribbean Games to be held in Colombia next month.
The team to compete at Small Tour level comprises:
Stephanie Engstrom Koch, 28 years old, a graphic designer from Santo Domingo, and Zen, 14-year old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Katlyn Flett;
George Fernandez, 38, a Florida state veterinarian from Winter Haven, Florida, and Gorktlingaard’s San Tiago, a 12-year old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Yvonne Losos de Muñiz, and
Yvonne Losos de Muñiz, 50, a profesional dressage rider from Santo Domingo, and Fredensdals Zig Zag, owned by Kathy Priest.
Reserve combination is Yvonne Losos de Muñiz and Aquamarijn, a 13-year old Dutch Warmblood mare.
Team coach is Kathy Priest of Versailles, Kentucky.
