SEGOVIA, Spain, June 1, 2018–Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Delgado, Spain’s top ranked combination at No. 19 in the world, won Grand Prix Special Friday in her campaign for a third straight national championship.
Beatriz and the 17-year-old Westfalen gelding was awarded 74.702 per cent for the win a day after capturing the Grand Prix in the championships that are a selection stop for combinations seeking to start at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina in September.
Claudio Castilla Ruiz on Alcaide was second on 72.617 per cent with José Antonio Garcia Mena and Benzi Landro third on 71.234 per cent.
