MEXICO CITY, May 29, 2018–The team for the Central American and Caribbean Games was announced Monday by the Mexican federation.

The team for the Games in Bogotá, Colombia at the end of July comprises, in order of ranking:

Mariana Quintana, 37 years old, and Benzema, 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding;
Bernadette Pujals, 49, and Heslegaards Rolex, 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding;
Monica Burssens, 31, and Elfentanz, 10-year-old Oldenburg mare, and
Enrique Palacios, 44 and Lorenzo, 12-year-old Trakehner gelding.

Reserve is Carlos Maldonado, 20, and Massimo, 17-year-old KWPN gelding.

Mexico is defending champion of the Games, staged at Small Tour level.
