UGGERHALNE, Denmark, May 24, 2018–Spain’s Severo Jurado Lopez rode Deep Impact to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday, the first victory for the pair since this same event a year ago.

Severo and the 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 73.022 per cent for the win with Germany’s Kathleen Keller on San Royal placing second on 71.783 per cent and the Netherlands’ Emmelie Scholtens on Desperado third on 71.391 per cent.

Severo, who rides for Helgstrand Dressage that organizes this Nations Cup, and Deep Impact competed on Spain’s team at last year’s European Championships.
