WERRIBEE, Australia, Mar. 24, 2018–Alexis Hellyer and Bluefields Floreno won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday for the fourth victory so far this year.
Alexis and the 13-year-old stallion, reserve champions of this year’s World Cup Pacific league final, were awarded 73.160 per cent for the victory in the musical performance after placing second in the Grand Prix Friday. The 28-year-old rider and the horse she has been competing at Big Tour since last October swept the three Grand Prix levels at the Bawley Point CDI3* a month ago.
Judith Dierks on Diamond Star placed second on 72.725 per cent.
Shannan Goodwin and Aristede were third on 72.325 per cent, a personal best for the pair that won the Grand Prix also with the best result so far.
