FEILDING, New Zealand, Feb. 15, 2017–The Olympic partnership of Julie Brougham and Vom Feinsten won the New Zealand Championships CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday, in only their second international competition since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
Julie and the 15-year-old Rhinelander gelding (Fidermark x Weltmeyer) scored 69.913 per cent, the highest score for the pair in almost two years. The pair competed in Australia last October, the only international competition for the duo since the 2016 Olympics.
John Thompson and JHT Antonello placed second on 68.370 per cent with Abbie Deken on K H Ambrose third on 67.783 per cent.
