WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 26, 2018–Heather Blitz and Praestemarkens Quatero won the CDI3* Prix St. Georges Friday for the sixth victory in seven starts while Norwegian young rider Alexandra Andresen made her American debut on Empire B to place second.
Heather of Loxahatchee, Florida and the nine-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding scored 70.324 per cent for the win in the fourth start this year at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
As the first Norwegian to compete at Global, the 21-year-old Alexandra and Empire scored 69.676 as runner-up in the first CDI Small Tour event for the duo.
Alexandra and the nine-year-old Dutch gelding, the 13th ranked young rider pair in the world, competed at the 2017 European Championships.
Alexandra competed in three European Junior Rider Championships winning multiple individual and freestyle medals and two Europeans for Young Riders.
