Judy Reynolds and Vancouver K, Ireland’s top dressage combination, will not campaign for the World Cup Final in Paris but focus on the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina in September.

Judy and Vancouver, a 16-year-old KWPN gelding, are ranked No. 17 in the world after a year in which the pair competed at the Omaha World Cup Final and the last April and the Olympics in 2016 as well as the Central Park Horse Show..

Based in Germany, the 36-year-old Judy said: “We are not planning to compete at any of the remaining indoor World Cup rounds. We missed the qualifiers up to now and it’s too late now to start a campaign for the finals.

“The plan is to focus on being ready for the outdoor season in April with the main aim for this year being the World Equestrian Games.
