MÜNSTER, Germany, Jan. 14, 2018–Helen Langehanenberg in the first competition of the year rode Damsey to a double victory, taking both the Grand Prix and the Special at the K + K Cup CDN.
Helen and the 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion owned by Louise Leatherdale of Long Lake, Minnesota scored 78.080 per cent in the Grand Prix and 79.745 per cent in the Special on Sunday.
The 35-year-old German team rider is expecting her second child at the end April.
Anabel Balkenhol Heuberger was second in the Special on 75.882 per cent with Charlott Maria Schürmann and Burlington third on 74.765 per cent.
