WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 12, 2018–A celebration of Jimmy Mandala, the dressage steward and Global Dressage Festival facilities manager with a legion of friends and fans around the United States, will be held at the Wellington Global VIP pavilion 5 p.m.-6:30 pm Monday.
Equestrian Sport Productions has donated use of the VIP tent and snacks for the celebration that was organized by Scott Hassler, a close friend, and Robin Dunning, who cared for James in his final months before dying of pancreatic cancer in Easton, Maryland last October.
Jimmy, who was 48 years old, was a much loved figure in American dressage, performing work as a steward at many shows around the country.
“We wanted to have an event here for all his friends,” said Scott Hassler.
“We want everyone to bring memories they would like to share to celebrate Jimmy’s life for the wonderful human being he was.”
