MEXICO CITY, Dec. 3, 2017–Bernadette Pujals on Curioso XXV won the CDI3* Grand Prix and Freestyle to capture Mexico’s Big Tour national championship.

Bernadette riding Curioso for the first time in a CDI won the Grand Prix with a score of 69.260 per cent and the Freestyle on 71.995 per cent with only two pairs in the Big Tour.

Bernadette, a two-time Olympian for Mexico, took over the ride on the 16-year-old P.R.E. from Victor Alvarez Diez of Spain who began Curioso’s CDI Grand Prix career in 2010.

The small tour championship was won by Rafael Lavista on Varonette who placed second on 67.955 behind Edith Varga on French Affair on 68.825 per cent in the freestyle and second on 66.474 per cent in the Prix St. Georges to Bernadette Pujals and Baron de Ley W on 71.842 per cent. Bernadette and Baron de Ley retired in the freestyle.
