ANKUM, Germany, Nov. 11, 2017–America’s Sarah Daehnert rode her 11-year-old Uno Samantha to victory in the CDN Int. II Saturday.
Sarah of the Chicago area suburb of Mettawa and the Danish Warmblood mare scored 72.325 per cent to win her division of the competition.
Sarah and Uno Samantha that she owns with Bob Price, a Chicago area industrial designer, train with Patrik Kittel in Germany.
The duo competed at CDI small tour in Wellington at the 2015 Global Dressage Festival.
Fellow American Sabine Schut-Kery on Sanceo placed fifth on 68.640 per cent in the other division of the Int. II.
Sabine of Thousand Oaks, California and the 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion she rode at small tour on the United States gold medal team in the 2015 Pan American Games is in Europe on a $25,000 Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize.
