OLDENBURG, Germany, Nov. 3, 2017–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl rode Unee BB to victory in the CDI4* Grand Prix Friday, the second win in three starts for the German team pair since the rider returned from a six-month competition break to have a baby.
Jessica and the 16-year-old KWPN gelding scored 76.560 per cent. The pair competed for Germany at the 2015 European Championships as well as three World Cup Finals.
Great Britain’s Lara Butler and Rubin Al Asad posted a personal best score of 74.060 per cent for second place. The previous best for Lara and the 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding was 72.780 per cent in April, 2016.
Spain’s Borja Carrascosa on Al Martino also posted a personal best 69.160 per cent to place third.
