LE MANS, France, Oct. 21, 2017–The Danish Olympic pair of Anders Dahl and Selten HW won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle with a personal best score Saturday, to repeat a sweep of this show for the second year.
Anders and the 13-year-old American-bred Hanoverian gelding were awarded 76.875 per cent for the win, two days after capturing the Grand Prix–matching the performances at this show in 2016.
Spain’s Nicole Vazquez Kremer and Wonder placed second on 72.700 per cent with Switzerland’s Birgit Wientzek Plägae and Robinvale third on 72.600 per cent.
Anders, based in England and who competed for Denmark at the 2016 Rio Olympics, logged the third victory in a row on Selten that was bought after then owner-rider Californian Elizabeth Ball completed taking the three U.S. young horse titles.
The duo began Big Tour in April last year then going on to compete for Denmark at the Rio Olympics and in Nations Cups.
