Rudolf Zeilinger has been appointed coach of Spain’s high performance teams, Spanish federation announced Wednesday.
The decision to appoint Rudolf, 53 years old and based in Emsbüren, Germany, came a year after he resigned after almost two decades as coach of Denmark’s team.
Rafael Soto will oversee the youth programs.
Rudolf, a student of Willi Schultheis, won the German Championships in 2001. He had founded the Zeilinger horse sport center in Emsbüren in 1993.
The United States was his first national team coaching assignment followed by Denmark.
