SAUMUR, France, Sept. 24, 2017–Adelinde Cornelissen and Aqiedo won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday for back-to-back victories and the second personal best score in as many starts.
Adelinde and the 12-year-old KWPN stallion scored 76.235 per cent for the win and besting their previous high of 75.039 per cent in the Special in March this year. The pair took the Grand Prix Friday, also with a personal best. Sunday’s result was the highest at any Grand Prix level in 14 starts since beginning Big Tour in May last year.
Spain’s Sergio Martin Palos on Batute was second on 73.510 per cent and Philipes Limousin of France on Rock’n Roll Star third on 69.706 per cent.
