The Central Park Horse Show is being planned for 2018 that would mark the fifth year of the event in the heart of New York City, Equestrian Sport Productions reported Wednesday.
The event that has become iconic was not on the list of 25 international dressage competitions including the World Equestrian Games in Tryon that are tentatively scheduled for the United States in 2018.
Central Park would bring to 26 the number of international dressage events in America, including the World Games Sept. 11-23 at Tryon, North Carolina.
Equestrian Sport Productions is organizing the WEG as it does all Tryon competitions plus the Global Dressage and Winter Equestrian Festivals in Wellington, Florida, shows at the Colorado Horse Park as well as Central Park.
Central Park would be scheduled after the World Games of the seven international disciplines of dressage. driving, endurance, eventing, jumping, reining and vaulting plus para dressage.
