LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Aug. 1, 2017–Germany’s Bianca Nowag and Fair Play RB and the Florida-based Juan Matute, Jr. of Spain on Don Diego Ymas jumped into the top five in the latest world Under-25 rankings released Tuesday.
Lina Uzunhasan on Donna Ray, based in the Netherlands, moved to No. 2 in the Young Rider standings seven months after switching to ride for the United States.
Anne Meulendijks of the Netherlands on MDH Avanti remained the top ranked Under-25 combination for the third straight month with Austria’s Diana Porsche on Do Sandro OLD standing at No. 2 and Maxime van der Vlist of the Netherlands on Bailey third.
Bianca Nowag and Fair Play jumped to No. 4 from 20th the previous month and Juan Matute on Don Diego climbed to No. 5 from 15.
Holland’s Jasmien de Koeyer on Esperanza moved up to the top of the Junior rider rankings from the second spot.
Lina Uzunhasan rode under the Turkish flag until the beginning of this year when she switched to compete for the U.S. Lina is coached by Anky van Grunsven.
