POMPADOUR, France, June 25, 2017–Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday, the third Big Tour victory this year for the 2015 Danish team European Championships pair.
Rikke and the 15-year-old Trakehner stallion scored 70.412 per cent for the win.
French combinations Pauline Vanlandeghem on Liaison ENE*HN placed second on 70.392 per cent and Marie Emilie Bretenoux on Quartz of Jazz was third on 67.294 per cent.
Switzerland’s Marcela Krinke Susmlej and Smeyers Molberg won the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 74.300 per cent, a day after capturing the Grand Prix and extending their string of victories to six. The unbroken run of wins by Marcela and the 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding in their eighth year at Big Tour matches a string of four achieved in 2015.
The Netherlands’ Thamar Zweistra on Hexagon’s Double Dutch placed second on 74.150 per cent with Cristobal Belmonte Roldan of Spain in third on 73.650 per cent.
