Don Johnson FRH has moved up to No. 8 in the world to give Isabell Werth three horses in the top 10, Weihegold OLD at No. 1 and Emilio in the sixth slot.
The move up to eight from 11th the previous month for Isabell and Don Johnson after successful results last weekend was the bigest change at the top tier of the latest International Equestrian Federation rankings released Thursday.
Great Britain’s Spencer Wilton and Super Nova II climbing to No. 20 from 28th and Helen Langehanenberg of Germany on Damsey FRH jumping to 25th from No. 36 at the end of April were other significant moves in the 30 leading combinations in the standings.
Switzerland’s Eestelle Wettstein on West Side Story took over as No. 1 in the Young Rider rankings while Nicola Louise Ahorner of Austria and Robbespiere went to the top of the Junior rankings. The Netherlands’ Anne Meulendijks on MDH Avanti remained the top Under-25 combination.
