LIPICA, Slovenia, May 27, 2017–Switzerland’s Marcela Krinke Susmelj and Smeyers Molberg won the World Cup Grand Prix Saturday in the first outing for the partnership since the Omaha Final two months ago and campaign for a start at the 2018 championship in Paris.

Marcela scored 73.640 per cent on the 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding that she has competed at Olympics, World Games and three European Championships as well as three World Cup Finals.

Russia’s Tatiana Miloserdova on Awakening and Austria’s Belinda Weinbaur on Söhnlein Brilliant MJ tied for second on 70.160 per cent.
