SAN DIEGO, California, May 13, 2017–Steffen Peters, the most successful American dressage rider this century, has launched an Internet site, SPDressage.com, designed to be a “fun instructional website with humorous interviews and video clips.”

Steffen, based in San Diego, California, said he came up with the idea of the site after being approached numerous times to write a book but thought that had “been done brilliantly” by many trainers and riders.

“I thought it might be fun to come up with a membership website and dressage videos in the highest image quality,” he said. “Besides training videos, I wanted to share some behind-the-scenes clips, some interviews with fellow competitors, trainers and judges.

“The training videos are not meant to be shown as dressage guidelines or how certain movements are supposed to be ridden. They are simply shared with anybody who is interested in our approach how to communicate and play with horses.”

Steffen has competed in four Olympics for the United States, winning two team bronze medals; three World Games earning two individual and one team bronze; four World Cup Finals including only the second American champion, and eight times national Grand Prix champion, seven times since 2006, more than any other rider.
