MÁRIAKÁLNOK, Hungary, April 29, 2017–Benjamin Werndl and Der Hit won the World Cup Grand Prix Saturday for the first Big Tour victory for the German pair .

Benjamin and the 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 71.040 per cent for the first win in four years at Big tour.

Austria’s Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Duccio was second on 69.680 per cent with Spain’s Olympic rider Morgan Barbançon on Sir Donnerhall II Old third on 69.160 per cent.

The Freestyle will be staged Sunday to decide points toward qualifying for the World Cup Final in Paris next April.
