MEDINA-SIDONIA, Spain, Mar. 24, 2017–Portugal’s Daniel Pinto and Santurion de Massa won the CDI4* Grand Prix Friday for the third straight victory and undefeated this year
Daniel and the 11-year-old Portuguese Sport Horse scored 73.360 per cent, a personal best in two years of Big Tour competition. The pair that competed for Portugal at the 2015 European Championships won the Grand Prix and the Special at this same show grounds earlier in the week in their first competition in five months.
In the Portuguese sweep of the top three places, Maria Caetano on Coroado was second on 72.380 per cent and Vasco-Mira Godinho on Bariloche third on 69.980 per cent.
