VALENCIA, Spain, Mar. 11, 2017–Sönke Rothenberger and Cosmo won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday, posting a personal best score at Big Tour for the second day in a row for Germany’s Olympic team gold medal partnership.

Sönke and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding scored 79.569 per cent for the win, a day after being awarded a personal best 78.940 per cent in the Grand Prix in the first competition since last summer’s Olympics and early preparation for the European outdoor season.

 

Spain’s Augusti Elias Lara on Altaneira BCN was second on 71.765 per cent and Great Britain’s Anna Louise Ross on Wydny third on 67.843 per cent.
