America’s Laura Graves on Verdades moved back to No, 4 in the world after posting two scores of 80 per cent at Grand Prix in February with three United States Olympic team bronze combinations in the top 20 in the latest standings.
Germany’s Isabell Werth on Weihegold OLD remained at the top of the International Equestrian Federation(FEI) rankings as of the end of February and released Wednesday.
Her Olympic gold medal team mates of Kristina Bröring-Sprehe on Desperados FRH and Dorothee Schneider on Showtime FRH filled the second and third places, repectively, as they have since last August.
Laura of Geneva, Florida and her 15-year-old KWPN gelding had been No. 4 at the end of 2016 but swapped places with Great Britain’s Carl Hester on Nip Tuck in January, and have bow reversed the standings.
Steffen Peters of San Diego, California moved up to ninth place on Legolas though he has not competed the horse this year and jumped to 23rd from 28th on Rosamunde.
Kasey Perry-Glass on Dublet jumped four places to 17th in the world.
Adelinde Cornelissen who is formally retiring Jerich Parzival at ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands next week stood at No. 46 in the world.
These rankings also decide qualification of a rider not in the four established leagues for the World Cup Final in Omaha at the end of this month.
The decision will be between Argentina’s Maria Florencia Manfredi on Bandurria Kacero and Tanya Seymour of South Africa on Ramoneur.
