WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 30, 2017–Great Britain’s Suzan Pape moved to the top of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival prize money standings after the second of seven CDIs over the winter with Americans Laura Graves and Lisa Wilcox tied in second.
Suzan’s success on Fiorano and Don Noblesse owned by Harmony Sport Horses of Kiowa, Colorado in World Cup events in the first two weeks put her earnings at $7,560 in the standings presented by Cunningham & Cunningham Livestock Insurance.
Laura Graves of Geneva, Florida on her Olympic team medal horse Verdades won both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle in the second World Cup week to garner winnings of $6,600.
Lisa Wilcox of Wellington, Florida on Galant had won the same amount in the first of the four World Cup events on the Global calendar.
Juan Matute, Jr., 21 years old who rides for Spain competed horses at both senior and Under-25 Grand Prix stood and fourth at $4,900.
Canadians Megan Lane on $4,840 and Brittany Fraser on $4,700 filled the fifth and sixth slots, respectively.
Sweden’s seven-time Olympian Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén was in seventh position on $4,100.
The standings could undergo a major re-shuffling in two weeks with the $200,000 CDI5* and another $32,700 in prize-money for other divisions as the world’s second richest single week dressage event behind only the World Equestrian Festival at Aachen, Germany.
