BONEO, Australia, Jan. 22, 2017–Mary Hanna rode Sancette to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday in the first show of 2017 for the 16-year-old gelding in the seventh year at Big Tour.

Mary and Sancette scored 71.760 per cent to top the eight-horse musical competition.

Rozzie Ryan and Jarrah R placed second on 70.090 per cent with Lesley-Ann Taylor on Amicelli Gold third on 69.820 per cent.

Sancette was second behind Mary’s Boogie Woogie in the Grand Prix Fridy.

The Hanoverian gelding (Sandro Hit x Contender) was bought from the United States in 2010 and competed on the Australian team at the 2012 Olympics in London and the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy.
