OMAHA, Nebraska, Jan. 5, 2016–Isabell Werth, the most decorated equestrian in Olympic history, will headline a special “Dressage Showcase” presenting young horses to Grand Prix at the World Cup Finals in Omaha, Mar. 29-Apr. 2.

Isabell, No. 1 rider in the world, will present two young horses (5-7 years old), a Small Tour horse and a young Grand Prix horse, will explain the training methods she takes to bring a horse to the highest level of dressage. The showcase will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 31.

The World Cup finals of dressage and jumping will be the biggest event on this year’s international equestrian calendar. Riders representing more than 25 countries are expected for the Midwest’s first-ever international showdown of 70 of the world’s top riders in two Olympic disciplines.

“We are so excited that the legendary Isabell Werth is coming to Omaha!” said Lisa Roskens, Chairman of the Omaha Equestrian Foundation, the finals producer. “The Dressage Showcase segment with Isabell Werth will give fans a rare opportunity to learn from an international star who has won more Olympic medals than any dressage rider in history and we are delighted that she has chosen Omaha for her first-ever exhibition in the U.S.”

Isabell is a five-time Olympic veteran who has won a total of 10 Olympic medals including individual gold in 1996, team gold in 1992, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2016 and four individual silver medals.
