FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 16, 2016–Anabel Balkenhol and Dablino FRH won the CDI4* Grand Prix Friday for the fourth win of the year for the German 2012 Olympic partnership.
Anabel and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 75.520 per cent that was the highest Grand Prix score of the year for the pair that won this same event a year ago.
Fabienne Lutkemeier and Fabregaz, a spectacular black German Sport Horse gelding, turned in a personal best score of 74.240 per cent to place second in the fifth show for the German team rider since starting Big Tour in March.
Sönke Rothenberger, the German team gold medalist from the Rio summer Olympics, and the 17-year-old Favourit were third on 74.160 per cent.
