OLDENBURG, Germany, Nov. 27, 2016–Great Britain’s Laura Tomlinson and Rosalie B won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday with a personal best score for the second time at this show.
Laura and the 10-year-old Westfalen mare scored 75.882 per cent that beat the previous best of 72.078 per cent posted in Florida in March where the pair made their Big Tour debut. The duo logged a personal best 74.400 per cent in the Grand Prix Friday.
Laura, an Olympic team gold and individual bronze medal rider on Mistral Hojris in London in 2012, competed the 10-year-old Westfalen mare at Small Tour in 2014 and 2015 before moving up to Big Tour in Wellington, Florida at last winter’s Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Rosalie (Rubin Royal x Newcastle) was bred by her trainer, German Olympic gold medalist Klaus Balkenhol.
Sweden’s Michelle Hagman on Happiness placed second on 74.569 per cent with Germany’s Carola Koppelmann on Deveraux B third on 72.490 per cent.
