OLDENBURG, Germany, Nov. 26, 2016–Inessa Merkulova and Mister X won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday for the sixth straight victory since the Russian pair competed at the summer Olympics.
Inessa and the 12-year-old Russian-bred Trakehner gelding scored 81.525 per cent following their win in the Grand Prix a day earlier.
It was the sixth straight victory in six starts for the duo since the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in August.
Germans Jan-Dirk Giesselmann on Real Dancer FRH placed second on 75.225 per cent and Bernadette Brune on Spirit of the Age OLD was third on 74.550 per cent.
