LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 13, 2016–Chase Hickok and Sagacious HF on Saturday night added the U.S. Dressage Finals Grand Prix Freestyle championship to the Grand Prix title won a day earlier in the pair’s first appearance at this competition in its fourth year as a mixed adult amateur and open event.
The Wellington, Florida-based Chase and the 17-year-old KWPN gelding scored 74.167 per cent.
Heather Mason of Lebanon, New Jersey and Warsteiner that she rode to the Intermediate II championship on Thursday was reserve in the freestyle on 72.917 per cent while Lauren Sprieser of Marshall, Virginia on Ellegria was third on 69.875 per cent.
