SAUMUR, France, Sept. 24, 2016–France’s Claire Gosselin and the 18-year-old Karamel de Lauture produced a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday.
Claire and theSelle Francais stallion that is in its sixth year competing at Big Tour scored 74.250 per cent for the win over compatriot Stephanie Brieussel on Amorak on 73.725 per cent.
Great Britain’s Emile Faurie on Weekend Fun was third on 73.00 per cent.
The previous best Grand Prix Freestyle score for Claire and Karamel de Lauture was 74.150 per cent at Saumur in May, 2015 in a career that saw the pair compete at the 2013 European Championships.
