AACHEN, Germany, July 17. 2016–Kristina Bröring-Sprehe and Desperados FRH produced a personal best score to lead a German Olympic team sweep of the CDIO5* Grand Prix Freestyle just three weeks before dressage starts at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Kristina and the 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 88.825 per cent that beat their previous best of 88.804 per cent that was set when the pair won silver to gold for Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro during the 2015 European Championships at this same show grounds.
Isabell Werth on Weihegold OLD, who won the Grand Prix on Thursday, were second on 86.950 per cent in the third CDI Freestyle on the 11-year-old mare.
Dorothee Schneider who described Showtime as “ambitious” and displayed expansive free gaits placed third on 86.925 per cent.
