AACHEN, Germany, July 17, 2016–Dorothee Schneider is the newest member of the “80% Club” with Showtime FRH scoring 80.700 per cent in the Grand Prix at the World Equestrian Festival CDIO5*.
The 47-year-old rider who has been selected with Showtime for the German team at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next month became only the 13th rider in the history of dressage to achieve 80% or more in a Grand Prix.
Fellow German team rider Isabell Werth made the achievement with two horses, Bella Rose and Weihegold OLD on which she won the CDIO5* Grand Prix at this year’s CHIO, and Edward Gal of the Netherlands on Totilas and Glock’s Undercover.
The award of a brow band specially designed for the honor was made at the CHIO in Aachen by Kenneth J. Braddick, of dressage-news.com that created the award to recognize the achievement.
The brow band was designed and produced by Robin Brown of Sarasota, Florida.
Riders who have achieved the 80% level at Grand Prix are:

–Helen Langehanenberg of Germany and Damon Hill;
