The 2016 United States Grand Prix and Intermediaire I Championships will be held at the Paso Robles Horse Park in California Oct. 12-16, the U.S. Equestrian Federation announced Tuesday.
The championships had originally been scheduled for Thousand Oaks, California in November but issues were reported with the staging of such an event within the community.
The pony through Under-25 Brentina Cup divisions of the national championships are being held separately at Wayne, Illinois along with the U.S. Young and Developing Horse Championships in Wayne, Illinois for the second year in row.
The Paso Robles horse park was built originally for hunter and jumper competitions but a national dressage show was held earlier this month with high praise for the facility and the organization, 200 miles (320km) north of Los Angeles.
