ATHENS, July 5, 2016–Greek combinations claimed gold in nine of 10 categories at the FEI Balkan Dressage Championships on home ground in Athens but Croatia’s Vanda Ljolje on Belgian-bred pony mare Ashen Dew Drop prevented a sweep by taking the children’s Individual title.

Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Turkey as well as Greece competed in the 49th year of the championships and at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo for the second time.
