LEXINGTON, Kentucky, May 5, 2016–The U.S. Equestrian Federation announce Thursday recipients of competition and training grants aimed at developing depth in American dressage.

The grants, part of the developing dressage program, were awarded to:

–Barbara “Bebe” Davis of Wellington, Florida with Equestricon’s Carrera, a 16-year-old Hungarian Warmblood mare owned by Antonia Arl. Bebe plans to compete Carrera at the Under-25 CDI in Compiegne, France May 19-22 and the Under-25 CDI at Rotterdam, Netherlands June 22-26. Bebe was previously named with her Fievel Mousekewitz to a Young Rider squad to compete in Europe.


–Genay Vaughn of Elk Grove, California on Donarweiss GGF, a 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion owned by Starr Vaughn Equestrian, Inc.

–Ayden Uhlir of Carlsbad, California with her Sjapoer, a 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.

–Sierra Keasler of Wellington, Florida and Lux Stensvang, a 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Caroline Roffman.

The USEF Developing Dressage Program is led by Debbie McDonald and supported by Akiko Yamazaki and her Red Husky Foundation.
