MÁRIAKÁLNOK, Hungary, May 1, 2016–Ulla Salzgeber and Sir Simon completed a double victory by winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday a day after capturing the Grand Prix in only the second Big Tour competition for the eight-year-old Westfalen gelding.

Ulla, an Olympic gold medalist for Germany, and Sir Simon (Samarant x Florestan I) scored 69.647 per cent for the win.

Austria’s Ukrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Aktionãr was second on 67.431 per cent with Nikolaus Erdmann on Vienna A third on 67.275 per cent.

Belinda Weinbaür on Don Walesko won the Grand Prix Freestyle on 71.650 per cent with Hungary’s Robert Âcs on Rasputin second on 70.375 per cent and Germany’s Vera Fûrst on Coming on Strong third on 69.500 per cent.
