SYDNEY, April 7, 2016–Sue Hearn and Remmington won the Sydney CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday, the final qualifier in Australia for the long list of combinations to compete in Europe for a place on the Olympic team.

Sue and the 14-year-old gelding scored 68.42 per cent for the first victory since sweeping the Brisbane CDI3* last July.

Judith Dierks on Diamond Star placed second on 68.26 per cent with Robbie Soster on Robali Razzamatazz third on 66.88 per cent.

Australia’s long listed riders will compete at the CDIO5* Nations Cups in Odense, Denmark May 12-16 and Rotterdam June 23-26 for the four places on the team to go to Rio de Janeiro for the Olympics in August. The combinations qualified for the two European selection trials will be named by April 15.
