WERRIBEE, Australia, Mar. 19, 2016–John Thompson and Bates Antonello won te World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday a day after taking the Grand Prix in the pair’s first competition since becoming 2016 New Zealand champion.

John and the New Zealand-bred 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 71.025 per cent with Mary Hanna on Boogie Woogie second on 70.075 per cent and Judith Dierks on Diamond Star third on 69.900 per cent.
