DOHA, Qatar, Mar. 4, 2016–Swedish Olympian Patrik Kittel on Deja won the CDI5* Grand Prix Friday while Judy Reynolds on Vancouver K was awarded a personal best score that keeps Ireland in contention for an individual start at the summer Olympics.

Patrik and the 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare scored 77.100 per cent for the victory with Germany’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Zaire second on 75.560 per cent.

Judy Reynolds on Vancouver K, a 14-year-old KWPN gelding, was awarded 74.320 per cent that surpassed their previous best of 73.880 per cent attained in Rotterdam last June.

Judy and Vancouver have shown throughout Europe in the past year of qualifying but the requirement for only four show results has led to a last-minute surge in results from some nations.
