BURBANK, California, Feb. 26, 2016–Michelle Reilly on Umeeko won the Mid Winter Dressage World Cup Grand Prix Friday the second victory for the pair in two years of Big Tour competition with the top three pairs from California.
Michelle of Encinitas and the 15-year-old KWPN gelding scored 67.220 per cent with Anna Buffini of Escondido on Sundayboy second on 65.780 per cent and Günter Seidel of Cardiff on Zero Gravity in third on 64.880 per cent.
Anna and the 17-year-old KWPN gelding that was the 2014 U.S. Young Rider championship pair were competing in their first international Big Tour event.
