BONEO, Australia, Jan. 23, 2016–Maree Tomkinson and Diamantina 4 posted their second win in two days by taking the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday with less than a quarter of a percentage point separating the top three places and a day after the 2014 Australian team World Games combination captured the Grand Prix.
The score by Maree and the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare was 68.922 per cent in only the third Special for the pair in four years competing at Big Tour.
Bret Parbery on DP Weltmieser, a 13-year-old Australian-bred Warmblood gelding, scored 68.765 per cent and a recovery from their seventh place in the Grand Prix.
Mary Hanna and Boogie Woogie were third on on 68.686 per cent.
