STUTTGART, Germany, Nov. 21, 2015–Isabell Werth, riding Emilio in only the nine-year-old Westfalen gelding’s second Big Tour event, won the Stuttgart German Masters CDI4* Grand Prix Saturday.
Isabell and Emilio scored 75.620 per cent for the victory, extending the duo’s undefeated record to three Big Tour wins, the first two coming in Perl last summer.
Emilio (Ehrenpreis x Cacir AA) is one of five international Grand Prix horses in Isabell’s current competition lineup.
Karen Tebar on Don Luis placed second on 74.320 per cent, a personal best result for the French team European Championship pair.
Charlott-Maria Schürmann on Burlington FRH, a star combination in Germany’s developing horse events, was third on 73.660 per cent, also a personal best at Big Tour.
