MUNICH, Germany, Nov. 8, 2015–Dorothee Schneider rode the spectacular nine-year-old Showtime to a score above 80 per cent for the first time to win the Munich Indoors CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday.

Dorothee, who rode for Germany at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and the Hanoverian gelding scored 80.294 per cent for the victory, a score that included three marks of 10 from judge Christoph Umbach of Luxembourg.

The pair had squeaked to a victory in the Grand Prix Saturday receiving an identical final score to Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB but Dorothee and Showtime (Sandro Hit x Rotspon) had higher collective marks to give them the win.

This was only the third show for the duo since starting Big Tour and in those six starts have won four times.

Jessica and the 14-year-old KWPN stallion that she rode for the German team bronze medal at this year’s European Championships as well as placing third at the World Cup Final in Las Vegas in April had to settle for the runnerup up Sunday with a score of 76.216 per cent.

Matthias Bouten, also of Germany, on Ehrengold MJ placed third on 70.216 per cent.
