BIARRITZ, France, Oct. 9, 2015–Sergio Martin Palos on Altaneiro logged their first victory in winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in only the second international Big Tour competition for the Spanish pair.
Sergio and the 10-year-old stallion scored 68.460 per cent for the win. The pair made their CDI Grand Prix debut at Madrid in May.
Portugal’s Manuel Veiga on Ben Hur da Broa placed second on 67.520 per cent with the Netherlands’ Thamar Zweistra on Hexagon’s Banderas third on 67.400 per cent.
