STEYR, Austria, Sept. 13, 2015–Victoria Max-Theuer captured her 13th straight Austrian Championship Sunday, a month before the 30th birthday for the three-time Olympian.

“Vici” rode Blind Date to win the Grand Prix Freestyle on a score of 78,550 per cent and the Grand Prix on 74.940 per cent to take the title. She rode Blind Date on the Austrian team at the European Championships last month, the first championships for the 13-year-old Hanoverian mare.

She is ranked 23rd in the world on Blind Date, one of four horses she competes internationally, including Augustin OLD that Vici competed at the Olympics in London in 2012, the World Games in 2014 and the 2009, 2011 and 2013 Europeans.

Vici is ranked third on Blind Date on the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) individual rankings for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The rider’s first Olympics were Athens in 2004 and competed in the 2008 and 2012 Games.
