NEW York, Aug. 6, 2015–Double Olympic gold medalist Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro will compete at the Rolex Central Park Horse Show Sept. 25-26, the second edition of the event that has attained celebrity status around the world.

The appearance by the world’s No. 1 combination, reigning European and world champion as well as twice winner of the World Cup final will be the second by the British duo having competed in Florida in the winter of 2012.

Charlotte and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding will ride in the U.S. Open Dressage Grand Prix on Friday, Sept. 25, and in the U.S. Open $75,000 Dressage Freestyle, presented by Axel Johnson Group under the lights on Saturday, Sept. 26.

“We are so excited and fortunate to be working with Charlotte and Valegro at the inaugural U.S. Open Dressage event. They are truly one of the great combinations in dressage history,” said Mark Bellissimo, CEO of International Equestrian Group, LLC that stages the horse show.
